Born in Riazan on 23.06.2004, Alexandra TRUSOVA lives in Moscow where she attends high school. She likes reading books. She started skating in 2008 at Sambo 70 (Khrustalnyi), where she currently practices in high and low season with Eteri Tutberidze, Sergei Dudakov, Daniil Gleikhengauz and Georgi Pokhiliuk.

She is the 2021 World bronze medalist and the 2020 European bronze medalist. At the 2019 Grand Prix Final she ranked third, after having won the 2019 Skate Canada championship and the 2019 Rostelecom Cup. In 2021 she again won the gold medal at Skate America and at the Russian national competition.

At 13 years old, Trusova won the first of her two World Junior Championship (2018, 2019) titles and the 2017 Junior Grand Prix Final, and was the youngest female to win these events.

She currently holds four Guinness World Records. Trusova is the first and currently only female skater competing with four different types of quadruple jumps—toe loop, Salchow, flip, and Lutz. She is also the first female skater in history to score above 100 in technical elements when she recorded 100.20 technical points in the free skate at the 2019 Skate Canada.
