Born in Moscow on 28.03.2004, Anna SHCHERBAKOVA lives her home town where she attends high school. She likes reading and cooking. She started skating in 2007 at Sambo 70 (Khrustalnyi), where she currently practices in high and low season with Eteri Tutberidze, Sergei Dudakov and Daniil Gleikhengauz.

She won the gold metal at the ISU World Championship in 2020/2021 after ranking second at the European Chmapionship the year before. In the latest two season she also got the title of the National Champion. In 2018/2019 she won the silver medal at the Junior World Championship. She missed most of the 2017/18 season after breaking her leg on a triple loop.

Shcherbakova is the first senior lady to land a quadruple Lutz, and the second overall to land a quadruple jump, after training mate Elizabet Tursynbaeva of Kazakhstan. She is also the first lady to land quad Lutz and a triple jump combination in international competition (2019 Skate America)
